Q: How competitive is admission?
A: We typically accept 40-50% of applicants. We look for founders who are coachable, committed, and building solutions with meaningful impact potential.
Q: Can I apply if I'm not based in Baltimore?
A: Yes! Hutch serves founders nationwide. Most programming is virtual, with optional in-person events for those nearby.
Q: What if I don't have revenue yet?
A: That’s okay! Hutch Launch is designed for pre-revenue and early-stage founders. We’ll help you validate your model and find your first customers.
Q: Can I apply to multiple programs?
A: We recommend applying to the program that best fits your stage. If you’re unsure, our team will guide you during the interview.
Q. What happens if I'm not accepted?
A: We’ll provide feedback on your application and encourage you to reapply to a future cohort. We also offer free workshops and resources you can access while you build.
Q. Is there financial aid or scholarships?
A: Yes. All programs offer a scholarship refund upon successful completion. We also have payment plans available. Financial need should not be a barrier—reach out if you have concerns.
Q. What if my schedule changes and I can't participate?
A: We understand things come up. If you’re accepted but need to defer to a future cohort, let us know as soon as possible and we’ll work with you.
